Disruptive Innovation in Patient Safety hosted by the USC Center for Health System Innovation

This workshop will give attendees some insight into a few topics important in patient safety today.  Upon completion of the workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the value of patient and provider co-design for safety across the continuum of care
  • Identify ways to expand patient safety beyond the traditional hospital setting
  • Investigate five high-leverage principles for “flipping” primary care
  • Learn about some recent concepts in patient safety from around the world
